Steven Demetriou, DMD

Dr. Steven Demetriou is a board certified pediatric dentist. He has been creating happy, healthy, little smiles in his pediatric dental practice in Tewksbury, Massachusetts since 1984.

Dr. Steve graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tufts University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He went on to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and received his Doctor of Medical Dentistry in 1982. He received his certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the Eastman Dental Center at the University of Rochester. He continued his orthodontic training with the US Dental Institute and the Institute for Growth and Development in Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Steve continuously enhances his pediatric dental expertise by attending continuing education courses allowing him to bring updated techniques and materials to the practice. He is certified in the use of nitrous oxide, conscious sedation, CPR, and pediatric advanced life support (PALS).

Dr. Steve loves being outdoors, and is an avid runner, water skier, and boater. He strongly believes in giving back to the community, volunteers frequently, and has both sponsored and coached youth sports teams. He loves classic rock and is a diehard Boston sports fan. Dr. Steve has been married to his wife, Jan, for over 25 years and the two have a daughter, Samantha and two sons, Gregory and Timothy. They also share their home with Gracie, their English bulldog.
